Saturday, December 12th 3:00 to 7:00 come meet WDCSs official ArtAmbassador, Theresa LaBrecque; WDCS staff; and honored whale biologist Dave Wiley while doing perfect Christmas Shopping for the whale lover in your life.
Theresa LaBrecque has been working with WDCS to raise money and awareness for whales for the past three years. It was with her inspiration WDCS began the first of our fundraisers - A Whale Affair . And ever since, Theresa has been one of our brightest stars.
Saturday Theresa will be presenting one of her original Sophisticated Whimsy Whale paintings to Dave Wiley in thanks for all the years of hard work in protecting whales. Dave also recently received the US Department of Commerces Gold Medal award for his work altering tanker shipping lanes into the port of Boston.
Theresa will have herSophisticated Whimsy Whale Art on display atthe Brewster Ladies Library for the entire month of December. But Saturday will be very special. Come with your whale questions and get some Christmas gifts for the whale lovers in your life.
